We had nearly 500 of our incoming freshman attend Camp Dunbar
along with another 100 staff and upper class student helpers.
Students attended sessions dealing with how to be successful in
high school, a fashion show, snacks, dinner, and their class
schedules. They made new friends, met old friends, and
interacted with Dunbar staff. Parents got to go to homeroom,
get a brief introduction to Dunbar, and then follow their
students schedule. Thanks to all the students, parents, staff,
and upper class students that made the day a success. If
you get a chance, tell our guidance counselor, Mrs. Bond, what a
great job she did organizing the day! PARENTS
Your child will be bring home several forms for you to
complete and return. Please return these forms as soon as
you can. Also, send in the book, tech, and any other fees
so they can begin receiving their text books. |
